Linguaskill practice tests are simulated tests based on the Cambridge Linguaskill English test. Practice tests are also sometimes called mock tests. Answers are provided for our Linguaskill practice tests, however, the practice tests you take will not be marked. You will not receive a score, result, or CEFR level for your Linguaskill practice tests.
A Cambridge Linguaskill practice test is a sample version of the official Cambridge Linguaskill exam designed to help learners familiarise themselves with the test format, question types, and timing.
It allows students to practise the four key language skills tested in Linguaskill — Reading & Listening, Writing, and Speaking — in a similar environment to the real exam. These practice tests help identify strengths and weaknesses, improve test strategies, and build confidence before taking the official Linguaskill test.
On this page, you will find Linguaskill practice tests for Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Answers are given for each practice test question. However, your practice tests will not be marked.

We recommend that you access or view the answers after you have attempted the questions yourself for maximum effectiveness.
Practice tests help you prepare and stay calm on your actual test day. We all know how terrible it feels to go into a test nervous and with both palms sweating. If you're anxious, you're not at your best, and if you're not at your best, you're not going to do your best in your Cambridge Linguaskill test.
Taking multiple practice tests can help acclimatise you so that you stay calm and clear headed when you take your Linguaskill test, especially if you're taking it for the first time. Practice tests can benefit you in many ways:
We increase our Linguaskill practice tests every two weeks, with each new practice test being different from the previous one that was taken. This way, you can take our practice tests as many times as you need, so that you can be at your absolute best on test day.
